About new forms of transmission and performing independence in Aberdeen

Researchers from Cultural Studies, cultural policy makers and practitioners are discussing today how new artistic forms of production and the prioritizing of social media over print is transforming political and cultural arenas. The seminar  New forms of transmission and performing independence, funded by the Etxepare Basque Institute,   features Basque lecturers as the Institute Director for the Promotion and Dissemination of the Basque Language, Mari Jose Olaziregi, Basque journalist and writer Iñigo Astiz and Nerea Arruti, University of Aberdeen Professor, as well as experts from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and the Aberdeen and Glasgow universities.
