The international dance and movement meeting MOV-S kicks off in Bilbao

Coinciding with the second edition of the Encuentro de Nuevas Formas Escénicas 3, 2, 1, meeting, AlhondigaBilbao hosts, starting today and until May 31 MOV-S 2014, a traveling initiative by Mercat de les Flors Barcelona that has been supported this year by the Basque Government, the Etxepare Basque Institute and  Acción Social Española.

In its fifth year, this meeting aimed at professionals of Live Arts reaches Bilbao with the aim of offering expanded programming tools to develop and create a space for international visibility of artists. Thus, the event will create new bridges and promote the creation of natural ways of meeting and collaboration between artists and arts organizations related to dance and movement .

MOV-S is a nomadic collective action project to be developed in a period of two years through several lands: Galicia , Basque Country, Mexico and Chile. Through a series of seminars related to local festivals, the meeting will be addressing, from different perspectives and with the participation of local actors and creators, the issue of “ARTICULATION”.

The first stop of MOV-S 2014 took place in Galicia, on the Isle of  San Simón, from 11 to 13 March. The prrograma to be held in Bilbao is equally broad : workshops , meetings and interviews with professionals, prototype development , project presentations ... FULL PROGRAM.
