New training at the UPV for the teaching of the Basque in universities and higher education centres abroad

The University of the Basque Country (Vice-chancellorship of Postgraduate Studies and International Relations) will offer, jointly with the Etxepare Basque Institute, a new Course of Training aimed at Basque Language teachers in universities and higher education centres abroad.


The main goal is to complete the training of professors or readers that go to devote to the education of the euskara like foreign language. The training has been designed baring in mind their specific needs.


On another hand, the Etxepare Basque Institute will keep offering, in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country Summer Courses, the program "Excellence in Basque Studies", for the fourth year now. It will be held in Donostia from the 7th to the 9th of July.
